Slot Attendant

Reports To

Slots Supervisor/Slot Manager

Summary

Slot Attendants are some of our most valuable front line people and assist our slots customers in many ways. This position requires an individual who has strong interpersonal communication skills, is energetic, and a team player willing to learn new skills.

Job Duties

  • Ensure guests are provided with superior customer service
  • Adhere to policies and procedures outlined on the slot floor
  • Administer hand pay jackpots, bill exchanges with guests, machine maintenance including diagnosis of machine malfunctions, ticket games, and game diagnostics
  • Balance assigned daily cash float
  • Identify and report counterfeit bills
  • Responsible for the initial response to customer complaints, claims, and inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with AGLC terms and conditions
  • Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests
  • Support and communicate with all associates on the casino gaming floor
  • Execute daily assigned operational goals and objectives
  • Ensure the slot floor meets desired presentation for guests
  • Maintain a positive and respectful attitude with a “One Team” mindset
  • Actively promote the Casino’s Players Club
  • Uphold a teamwork appearance helping where available or when requested
  • Any other duties as required

Requirements

  • Able to maintain security clearance
  • Must be available to work scheduled days, evenings, and weekends
  • Fluent in the English language
  • Have reliable means of transportation
  • Maintain an updated AGLC Gaming Worker’s license
  • Ability to grasp instructions and adjust to changing conditions

Work Conditions

  • Must be able to stand for prolong periods.
  • Must be able to carry out light cleaning duties
  • Must be available to work all shifts including evenings, weekends, and holiday
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced working environment
