The Opportunity
The Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for ongoing support and troubleshooting of the Yardi property management platform. This role serves as the primary technical and functional expert for Yardi, ensuring system stability, data integrity, security, and alignment with business processes across accounting, operations, and reporting teams. The knowledge of Yardi database structure, its tables and SQL play an integral part in this position.

What you bring...

Formal Education or Equivalent
- High-School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science would be considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience working in an IT environment in the areas of user security, system configuration, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of property management and real estate accounting concepts would be considered an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrate excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and show initiative
- Build and maintain polite and respectful rapport
- Deep knowledge of Yardi multi-property environment (Voyager 7, RentCafe Site Manager, CRM Flex, Elevate, Client Central)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Excel VBA, SQL, and VBA
- The knowledge of HTML would be considered an asset
- Understanding of computer systems and applications would be considered an asset.
You will...
- Administer, configure, and maintain property management software (Yardi) including system settings, workflows, permissions, and user roles.
- Resolve support requests and troubleshoot system errors, data discrepancies, user issues with software and external vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Configure property setups, charge codes, GL structures, and menus.
- Develop and maintain custom tables and reports including data import, validation for accounting, operations, and leadership.
- Assist team during month end processes, including renewal proposal backup.
- Process integrations with third-party systems and internal applications.
- Create and update process documentation and training materials.
- Train users on various software functionality and best practices through training materials.
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and new module implementations.
- Participate in system projects, upgrades, and implementations.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.
- Support and issue resolution – accuracy, time to resolution.
- Reduction in basic support tickets following training sessions.
- Feedback from Accounting, Operations, and users.
