We are seeking a talented Technical Project Coordinator / Junior IT Project Manager to join our team and help us continue to drive our growth.

As a Technical Project Coordinator / Junior IT Project Manager, you will help coordinate projects and software delivery activities within PaymentEvolution's software development team. This role works closely with Product, Business Analysis, Development, QA, Support, and other stakeholders to help ensure projects stay organized, priorities are visible, risks are identified early, and teams have the information they need to move work forward.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, comfortable working with technical teams, and looking to continue growing their project management career in a fast-paced software environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate software development projects and delivery activities, helping ensure work is completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Assist in maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, action items, and delivery schedules.
  • Work closely with Product, Business Analysis, Development, QA, and Support teams to improve communication and delivery visibility.
  • Identify project risks, blockers, and dependencies and escalate them to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Follow up on open items, decisions, approvals, and action items to help keep projects moving forward.
  • Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Help maintain Jira boards, sprint tracking, backlog visibility, and project status reporting.
  • Prepare project updates, meeting notes, delivery summaries, and stakeholder communications.
  • Assist with software release coordination, launch readiness activities, and post-release follow-up.
  • Continuously evaluate delivery processes and recommend practical improvements that increase efficiency and transparency.

Requirements:

  • Technical diploma, degree, or related certification.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an IT, software, SaaS, or technology-focused company.
  • Experience coordinating projects, software delivery activities, business operations, Scrum processes, or related work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana, Monday.com, or similar project management tools.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile delivery, QA, releases, and production support.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is an asset.
  • Familiar with automation tools including AI agents and productivity tools (be ready to showcase your recent experience).
  • Project management certification, CAPM, Scrum certification, or equivalent is considered an asset.
