ROLE: Project & Change Delivery Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of IT

LOCATION: Burnaby, BC

We are looking for a Manager, Project and Change Delivery to join our Agrifoods Team! This hybrid role is responsible for managing and delivering projects on time, within scope and budget, while also ensuring successful adoption and sustained change across the organization.


The Project Manager is responsible for leading projects that build scale through the organization and deliver operational efficiencies. The successful candidate will focus on managing enterprise projects while also leading and supporting cross-functional teams to deliver innovation, cost savings, and organizational change. The candidate will be comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects and portfolios, as well as rolling out new tools and processes to the teams.

The Change Manager plays a pivotal role in driving successful organizational transformation by focusing on the people side of change. This includes changes to business processes, systems, technologies, and organizational structures. The Change Manager will develop and implement change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance.

EXPERIENCE

  • You have minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience

  • You have a strong understanding of project management methodologies and documentation

  • You have experience leading multiple enterprise projects

  • You have change management and process documentation experience

  • You have your PMP certification

  • You have completed a post-secondary degree

NICE-TO-HAVE

  • You have experience delivering projects requiring organizational change

  • You have experience as an IT or ERP project manager, or an understanding of ERP implementation projects

THINGS YOU WILL DO…

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning, execution, monitoring, milestones, create work breakdowns, closures and post project reviews.
  • Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, budgets and resource allocations.
  • Conduct impact and readiness assessments, stakeholder analysis and engagement strategies
  • Plan, manage, execute, and control all aspects of assigned projects
  • Track project performance, report variances and make recommendations for action
  • Apply structured change management methodologies to drive adoption and minimize resistance
  • Develop and execute change management strategies and plans to support adoption of organizational changes.
  • Coach senior leaders, project leads and people managers to fulfill their roles in change initiatives
  • Design and deliver communication plans, training programs, and engagement strategies.Provide project management support and guidance to project team members and leads

  • Organize meetings as the project requires

  • Hold stakeholders or project members accountable

  • Identify and analyze impacts of change on business processes and potential points of resistance

  • Drive change management initiatives to positively influence adoption of systems/processes and participation in the project
  • Foster a culture of agility, resilience, and continuous improvement.
