Job Title: Private Pet Care Attendant (Part-Time, Flexible Schedule)

Location: Calgary, Alberta

Pay: $20/hour

Job Type: Part-Time, On-Call/Flexible

About the Role

Are you an experienced animal caregiver with a passion for providing compassionate, reliable care? We are looking for a dedicated Private Pet Care Attendant to provide individualized care for three beloved dogs with medical needs. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of animals who require extra attention and support.

Key Responsibilities: Provide attentive care to three dogs, including those with special medical needs.

Administer medications and monitor for any health changes

Support feeding routines, light grooming, and play/exercise

Maintain a clean and safe environment for the pets. Follow detailed care instructions and update owner as needed.

Provide care during evenings, weekends, daytime hours, and occasional overnights or extended stays when the owner is traveling or at work events

Qualifications: Previous experience in animal care is required (e.g., kennel, shelter, pet sitting, etc.)Veterinary assistant or vet clinic experience is a strong asset

Comfortable administering medication and following veterinary instructions

Must be dependable, communicative, and detail-oriented

Able to commit to a flexible schedule based on the owner's work and travel needs

Must love dogs and have a calm, confident approach to animals with health concerns

Compensation:$18-$20/hour

All necessary supplies and instructions will be provided

Opportunity to build a long-term working relationship with a pet-loving household

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
