About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Print & Finishing Technician to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you’ll operate our Mimaki and Roland wide-format printers, as well as perform vinyl preparation, lamination, weeding, masking, and graphic finishing.

You’ll play a key part in delivering high-quality signage products — from vehicle decals and window graphics to wall wraps and sign panels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate wide-format printers (Mimaki/Roland) for vinyl, decals, and printed graphics
  • Monitor print quality and color consistency, ensuring file accuracy
  • Laminate, weed, mask, and trim vinyl graphics and prints
  • Mount prints to various substrates (ACM, acrylic, PVC, etc.)
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the print area
  • Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of print and finishing equipment
  • Help prep signage for installation or fabrication
  • Assist with inventory tracking for vinyl, media, and supplies
  • Follow daily production schedules and hit deadlines
  • Collaborate with production supervisor and design team to ensure accuracy

Qualifications

  • 2+ year experience operating wide-format printers (Mimaki, Roland preferred)
  • Familiarity with Laminators, Plotters, Weeding & Masking tools
  • Comfortable working with CorelDRAW, Illustrator, or RasterLink/RIP software
  • Strong attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Bonus Skills (Not Required but Preferred)

  • Experience in signage or graphics production shop
  • CNC operation knowledge
  • Installation prep (vehicle or flat surface graphic knowledge)
  • Safety-conscious and familiar with PPE standards
