Looking to hire line cooks or a sous chef if the right person came along.

We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and lots of pizzas but also cater weddings and other events.

We offer year-round work full-time or part-time.

Job Summary:

A Line Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, and sanitation regulations. They work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen, typically assigned to a specific station (grill, sauté, fry, etc.) and play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient service during meal times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station throughout the shift.
  • Ensure food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service deadlines.
  • Follow portion control, presentation, and waste management guidelines.
  • Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Assist with inventory checks and notify chefs or supervisors of shortages.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment after use.
  • Comply with all food hygiene and health and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook.
  • Basic understanding of professional cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary school diploma or certification.
  • Knowledge of various cuisines or specialty diets (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free).
  • Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe).
