While this position is based out of our Porters Lake location, delivers will be made throughout HRM.

As a Driver with Payzant, you are integral to our commitment to excellence in customer service and delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient deliveries, maintaining our vehicles in top condition, and providing exceptional service at every touchpoint. This role requires diligence, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate vehicle to delivery sites, following all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance, reporting any issues or concerns to ensure the truck remains operationally ready for deliveries.
  • Ensure accurate and timely deliveries, loading and unloading goods as required, and handling all products with care.
  • Interact courteously with customers and team members, reflecting the company's standards in appearance and attitude while providing exemplary service.
  • Complete all required documentation related to deliveries and customer interactions accurately and promptly.
  • Assist with inventory management by participating in unloading and loading merchandise for inventory replenishment.
  • Collaborate with the shipping and receiving teams, ensuring efficient operation and accurate inventory handling.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently but collaboratively.
  • Great time management, logical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Capability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and operation equipment.
