GeoTrek Land Survey Ltd, a geomatics and engineering firm seeks a fulltime Party Chief for work in the Fort McMurray and Edmonton area.

Based out of Calgary, GeoTrek Land Surveyis a leader in the land surveying, civil engineering and geotechnical service sector providing services to the Oil and Gas Industry. With this in mind, we seek highly motivated, performance driven personnel who are looking to contribute on a higher level for the following position:

- SURVEY PARTY CHIEF (Oil and Gas Surveying) required immediately

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Alberta Oilfield Surveying Industry (Crew Chief)
  • Preferred 3 years’ experience with Alberta Oilfield Surveying Industry (Surveyor Assistant)
  • Valid Driver’s license and clean abstract
  • Own transportation is an asset
  • Possession of the following Safety Tickets: H2S Alive, First-Aid, WHMIS (will be supplied if required
  • Position requires a flexible schedule and ability to travel throughout Alberta
  • Ability to work in any weather conditions
  • Ability to travel for work

Responsibilities:

As a member of GeoTrek’s team you will:

  • be required to complete oilfield related surveys/construction surveys such as Well Site and Pipeline Right of way Surveys, Boundary Staking, As-Built Surveys, etc.
  • Be available to mobilize anywhere within Alberta and possibly other provinces for periods of several days or more.
  • Learn GeoTrek’s field systems and processes.

Hourly wage to be negotiated based on experience and attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$55.00 per hour
