Full job description

Job description:

If you're a physiotherapist tired of clinic volume, rushed treatments, and having no say in how care is delivered, keep reading.

PhysioHome is a founder-led in-home physiotherapy practice serving seniors, post-hospital, and complex-mobility clients across Metro Vancouver. We're scaling with intention, and we're looking for one clinically strong, dependable physiotherapist to grow with us.

This is not a high-volume role. It's unhurried, one-on-one care in clients' homes, backed by real admin support, clear clinical standards, and a genuine long-term path for the right person.

COMPENSATION & STRUCTURE

  • $120 to $140 CAD per visit, based on experience, case complexity, and availability
  • Independent contractor arrangement
  • Steady, organized referrals if you'd rather not build your own book
  • Flexible scheduling that works around your existing commitments

WHY THIS ROLE

  • One-on-one care. You assess, treat, and educate without the clinic clock running.
  • An interesting, complex caseload. Seniors, post-surgical, and neurological clients. The kind of work that keeps you growing clinically.
  • Real support. Admin handles scheduling, billing, and intake. Rehab Assistants and Kinesiologists carry your programs forward. You focus on physiotherapy.
  • Autonomy with structure. You own your caseload and clinical decisions. We provide the framework so it's never chaos.
  • Part-time by design. 10 to 15 visits per week to start, scaling up as referrals grow. Ideal if you're layering this onto existing work, easing back in, or looking to grow it into something bigger.

THE LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY

For a candidate who proves clinically excellent and reliable, this role is built to grow. Potentially into a senior or lead clinician position, involvement in program development and mentorship, and over time a genuine path toward ownership and equity as the practice expands.

This isn't guaranteed, and it isn't immediate. It's a real opportunity for someone aligned with where we're going. Not a sales pitch.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • In-home assessments and follow-ups for your own caseload
  • Build and progress individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver hands-on treatment, education, and functional rehab
  • Communicate clearly with clients, families, and caregivers
  • Collaborate with Rehab Assistants and Kinesiologists
  • Concise, timely documentation (SOAP notes)
  • Flag safety risks and escalate appropriately

WHO THRIVES HERE

  • Registered Physiotherapist, College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (mandatory)
  • Current professional liability insurance
  • Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel locally
  • Clinically sound and comfortable working independently in home settings with complex clients
  • Reliable, with strong documentation and follow-through
  • Home-care or geriatrics experience is an asset, not a requirement

WHAT WE BELIEVE

  • Clinical integrity over volume
  • Clear communication over ego
  • Reliability and follow-through
  • Calm, respectful care for complex clients

TO APPLY

Send your CV and a few lines on your experience with seniors or complex caseloads, and why in-home care appeals to you. We review every application and respond to strong fits quickly.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $120.00-$140.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • Physiotherapy license to work in British Coumbia? (preferred)
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
