It is advertised as 10 hours per week per class (maximum 4 classes); however, based on my experience and my colleagues, this is not the case especially for new teachers or those teaching a new grade level. After the pandemic, working hours became even worse.

How are the working hours

Will depend on your campus director and oversight from headquarters. If you are unlucky, you will have to spend quite a lot of time. Some of the surprises that showed up after myself and my colleagues were hired: extremely detailed lesson plan requirement, expectation to take extra time to "volunteer" or take other initiatives to score higher on their assessment criteria so you can qualify for a raise, expectation for you to arrive quite a bit earlier to campus before classes if you wish to score higher on your assessment to qualify for a raise, if full time, expected to be on campus for a day as well for admin duties, if a new teacher, you are expected to solve every single question yourself and have the solution ready for yourself (something that if you actually know and understand math, it is not necessary at all). These are just some that I remember. During Covid, work hours increased even more. Many employees who were at the edge finally got their final push to resign. You will notice that as well if you look at the rating trend. Also, when you look at the posts, given the timing of the high star ratings seems a bit suggestive of staff being encouraged to leave positive review to counter the negatives after the pandemic.

For new teachers, it can be quite overwhelming at first. Some locations have great local management/campus directors, and they help you out a lot as well as your colleagues. They warn you about upcoming work load rushes.

Upper management, you will see it to be a common sentiment of the recent reviews.Lets put it this way, I saw my managers extremely stressed and bothered when they learn the headquarters upper management is visiting. There is a difference between maintaining standards and running a fear culture where staff just want to appease the upper management and lose sight of actually having a healthy workplace environment for both staff and parents.

Yeap, previous answer is quite spot on. The standards for cleanliness is great and reasonable. But the stress induced by other aspects of the position was quite unhealthy, many of which collectively was agreed to be unreasonable by most staff where I worked.
