How are the working hours
Will depend on your campus director and oversight from headquarters. If you are unlucky, you will have to spend quite a lot of time. Some of the surprises that showed up after myself and my colleagues were hired: extremely detailed lesson plan requirement, expectation to take extra time to "volunteer" or take other initiatives to score higher on their assessment criteria so you can qualify for a raise, expectation for you to arrive quite a bit earlier to campus before classes if you wish to score higher on your assessment to qualify for a raise, if full time, expected to be on campus for a day as well for admin duties, if a new teacher, you are expected to solve every single question yourself and have the solution ready for yourself (something that if you actually know and understand math, it is not necessary at all). These are just some that I remember. During Covid, work hours increased even more. Many employees who were at the edge finally got their final push to resign. You will notice that as well if you look at the rating trend. Also, when you look at the posts, given the timing of the high star ratings seems a bit suggestive of staff being encouraged to leave positive review to counter the negatives after the pandemic.Asked 24 July 2017
