Full job description

Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) will provide services and support for children and their families in the the home and community settings. The contracts are predominantly through FSCD but may also be privately funded. Experience with pediatrics population is a MUST as you will be seeing clients by yourself. OTA/PTA will be given goals and strategies by the therapists on the teams, with some overlapping sessions. OTA /PTA will be servicing families throughout the city of Calgary (possibly Okotoks and Airdrie if close to their home). Ideal candidate would have daytime availability and after school sessions (3pm onwards or occasional weekends). Work schedule is flexible and the OTA/PTA can choose how many families to support on their caseload. OTA/PTA will need their own toys/games/therapy supplies for sessions.

OTA/PTA will be responsible for their own practice insurance as this is a subcontracting position.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
