Do you want to solidify your ambitions in sports medicine and injury rehab? Do you want to work with a cutting-edge therapist with over 2 decades of clinical experience? Then let me introduce myself....

My name is Karim Meghji; people know me as Physio Karim (@physiokarim), both socially and professionally. I am the founder of YYC Rehab and host in both the south and northwest of Calgary. I've had the great pleasure of mentoring students at all levels and inspiring them into the field of physical therapy. I've been running a Physio Apprenticeship Program for the last 20 years. I'm looking for an apprentice, not an assistant, who wants to learn, teach and inspire patients. If you want to get some hands-on skills, please apply.

Sample Responsibilities

  • be a world-class host to great people looking for pain relief
  • be charismatic but tactical when teaching injury-specific exercises
  • be enthusiastic about setting up electrotherapeutics
  • be willing to learn and elevate your knowledge every day you come to work

Understand I'm looking for a fantastic person to make rehab and client experiences truly remarkable!

Here's what I think is an asset:

  • Experience teaching exercises
  • PT clinical experience or Kinesiology degree/student
  • Worked in some form of hospitality or cool retail culture
  • Wanting a career in rehab medicine, not necessarily PT

YYC REHAB SOUTH is located in Sunpark Plaza SE, Calgary.

Current Apprenticeship hours are 7 am - 2:30 pm Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays.

For the right candidate, these hours may expand to Monday-Friday.

Start date - Immediate Position Available
