Are You Great at Creating Social Media Content?.

Vital Cryotherapy is hiring a part-time Content Creator.

Vital Cryotherapy is a health and wellness business located in Yaletown, Vancouver. We help people with recovery, energy, mood, focus, pain, inflammation, and overall wellness through cryotherapy and red light therapy.

We’re looking for an experienced, independent content creator who can come into our location at least once a week, capture strong content, and turn it into engaging Instagram and TikTok videos.

This is not a role for someone who needs to be taught how to film, edit, find trends, or create short-form content. You should already know how to take an idea from concept to finished post and be comfortable taking ownership of the process.

What You’ll Do:
  • Come into our Yaletown location at least once a week to film content.
  • Plan, film, edit, and deliver short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok.
  • Create content featuring our services, space, team, clients, and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Develop strong hooks, scripts, captions, and creative concepts.
  • Turn educational information into content that is easy to understand and interesting to watch.
  • Use existing photos and B-roll to create additional content.
  • Follow relevant trends without making the brand feel generic.
  • Build a consistent content calendar and production system.
  • Review performance and use the results to improve future content.
  • Take ownership of getting content completed without constant direction or follow-up.

Who We’re Looking For:
  • You have previously created social media content for a business, brand, organization, or your own established platform.
  • You have a portfolio or examples of short-form videos you have filmed and edited.
  • You understand what makes content perform on Instagram Reels and TikTok.
  • You are confident filming on a phone or camera and editing the footage yourself.
  • You can develop content ideas without waiting for someone to tell you exactly what to make.
  • You are comfortable directing staff, clients, or talent during filming.
  • You are reliable, organized, and able to consistently meet deadlines.
  • You can take feedback, make revisions, and improve quickly.
  • You are interested in health, wellness, fitness, recovery, or performance.
  • You can reliably commute to Yaletown at least once per week.

Experience with social media strategy, photography, graphic design, copywriting, on-camera content, or local business marketing is an asset.

What Success Looks Like:
You arrive prepared with a clear filming plan, capture enough footage during each visit, and turn that footage into polished content without needing extensive supervision.

You consistently bring forward new ideas, understand our audience, and create content that helps people understand what cryotherapy and red light therapy can do for them.

We will provide access to the business, our team, existing footage, customer insights, and brand direction. We are looking for someone who can take those resources and execute.

The Opportunity:
Most people in Vancouver still do not fully understand what cryotherapy is, how it feels, or why they would use it. Your job will be to make that clear through strong, engaging content.

You’ll have creative freedom to test different concepts, formats, hooks, and styles while building a real portfolio of work for a growing health and wellness business.

If you perform well, there is room for additional hours, greater responsibility, a larger title, and paid content opportunities with other businesses we’re involved with.

The right person can gain experience across:
  • Short-form video production.
  • Instagram and TikTok strategy.
  • Creative direction.
  • Health and wellness marketing.
  • Branding and storytelling.
  • Copywriting and scripting.
  • Customer research.
  • Local partnerships.
  • Business growth.

Perks:
  • Free cryotherapy.
  • Free red light therapy.
  • Free fitness classes at gyms and studios around Vancouver.
  • Creative freedom and ownership over your work.
  • Direct access to the owner and business decision-making.
  • A relaxed, friendly environment.
  • Opportunities to build relationships with local wellness and fitness businesses.
  • Real portfolio work with measurable business impact.

We run a fitness-class outreach program where staff attend classes around Vancouver at our expense. It’s a great wellness perk and helps our team build relationships with gyms, studios, instructors, and other local businesses.

What a Staff Member Says:
Working at Vital for the past five months has been an enlightening and educational experience. Not only has working here encouraged me to make healthier lifestyle and wellness choices, but it has also helped me develop my abilities professionally and personally. Jai is a great boss, and I know he cares about his staff. Overall, it’s a fantastic, fun, and chill environment to work in.

Details:
  • Part-time content creator role.
  • Must work in person at our Yaletown location at least once per week.
  • Editing and planning may be completed remotely.
  • Flexible schedule, but weekly consistency is required.
  • Applicants will be asked to share links to examples of content they have personally created, filmed, or edited.
