Full job description
PTW is hiring aPetroleum Mechanicto join our team for future work in the GTA.If you are available, we want to hear from you!
Job Details:
- Shift:Monday - Friday
- Working Hours:8 to 10 hours per day based on workload requirements
- Rate:$50 to $55/hr
- Travel Pay:Travel expenses are not covered for this local position. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area
Day in the life:
- Install, maintain, and repair petroleum handling equipment, product lines, and mechanical systems within terminal or bulk plant facilities.
- Perform piping, mechanical, and containment system repairs following environmental and safety regulations.
- Conduct system inspections, leak tests, and preventative maintenance on fueling and product transfer systems.
- Support shutdowns, retrofits, and commissioning tasks on site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
- Collaborate with operations and instrumentation teams to ensure minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
- Valid PM3 or PMH Certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in petroleum handling, terminal maintenance, or mechanical/pipefitting work.
- Understanding of environmental codes and petroleum equipment safety standards.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to terminal sites as required.
- Safety tickets such as CSTS, WHMIS, and TDG considered assets.
- Must be authorized to work in Canada.
- Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate
