The Village of Wentworth Heights has an exciting opportunity for a Food Service Worker to join their team.

  • Location: 1620 Upper Wentworth St, Hamilton, ON L9B 2W3
  • Position Type: Unscheduled Part Time

The hiring rate for this role is $22.28 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

As a new Food Services team member (FSA), you will:

  • Completed, enrolled in or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program;
  • Hold a valid Food Handlers certification;
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members;
  • Be able to lift up to 35lbs;
  • Have exceptional time management sills and ability to work in collaboration with a team;
  • Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food handling techniques;
  • Support and embrace our resident-centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents;
  • Food Service Team Members at Schlegel Villages assist with the preparation of catering functions and events, and maintaining a clean dining room and workspace.
