  • Accueillir et servir les clients au comptoir

At Fabrique de Bagel de Montreal, we are looking to build a brand that delivers excellence in customer service and bagel experience. We have perfected our recipes and now were looking for a team of high energy individuals to help us establish a bagel staple in the heart of Montreal.

As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be required to take customer orders, accept payment and serve customers at food counters. You may also be asked to prepare, heat and finish cooking simple food items.

DUTIES -

  • use a cash register to take customer orders, accept payment and give change
  • answer customer questions about menu items and serve customers at counter
  • preparing food such as cream cheese bagels, or coffee beverages
  • clean, peel, slice and trim food items using manual and electric appliances
  • clean and sanitize kitchen areas including, work surfaces, cupboards and storage areas, as well as dispose of kitchen garbage
  • sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff
  • refill condiments and other supplies in serving areas
  • unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and storage areas
  • Perform closing shift duties

Hours tend to be irregular but flexible and split shifts are common. As a food counter attendant, you will also be required to stand for long hours, and work in fast paced environment.
