Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Registered Kinesiologist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive rehabilitation services, develop tailored treatment programs, and support patients in achieving their health and mobility goals. Your expertise will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients’ physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on medical history and clinical evaluations
  • Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to promote recovery and improve function
  • Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records and document all patient interactions thoroughly
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and physiotherapists, to coordinate patient care
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, medication administration, and proper exercise techniques
  • Manage case documentation efficiently using Microsoft Office Suite applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and specialized electronic medical records systems

Requirements

  • Valid registration as a Kinesiologist with the appropriate licensing body
  • Proven experience in hospital settings or acute care environments is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and medication administration protocols
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse patients
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with effective time management and case management abilities
  • Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and electronic medical records systems
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus
  • Ability to operate various computer systems efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality
