Casino Blackjack Dealer

Major Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Providing exceptional guest service and conducting all games in a precise, efficient and secure manner in accordance to Chances Terrace, BCLC, and GPEB policies and procedures
  • Conduct table games professionally and as a team member
  • Work closely with Dealer Supervisors, Shift Managers and the Management team to ensure a well-run gaming floor
  • Promotes the sites events and services to all guests
  • Assist guests with game rules
  • Promote and maintain positive relations with all guests and staff
  • Must directly or indirectly provide for superior customer service and promote excellent employee relations with co-workers

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities Required:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Sharp mathematical skills to add and multiply numbers quickly and memorize repeated numerical combinations
  • Strong ability to follow policies, procedures, and practices
  • Ability to successfully obtain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
  • Commitment to learning what our guests' needs and wants are
