Full job description

Park Eatery is part of the Neighbourhood Group of Companies, a Certified B Corporation with more than 30 years serving Guelph and Kitchener. We source 80%+ of our food and beverage from Ontario producers. Local isn’t a marketing word here — it’s how we actually cook.

We’re looking for an experienced Line Cook who is serious about their craft and wants to be part of a kitchen that gives a damn about the food.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Minimum 2 years of line cook experience in a full-service restaurant
  • Strong technical skills and the ability to execute clean under pressure
  • Someone who takes full ownership of their station — prep, service, clean-up
  • A genuine passion for food, local ingredients, and doing things properly
  • Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Handler Certification required (or willingness to obtain before starting)
  • Red Seal or apprenticeship enrollment is a strong asset

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Run your station through prep and service with consistency and pride
  • Work with locally sourced, seasonal ingredients from Ontario farmers and producers
  • Support kitchen staff and contribute to a strong team culture
  • Uphold food safety and HACCP standards at all times
  • Step up when it’s needed — this team counts on each other

EARNINGS & PERKS

  • $18.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience
