About the Position

We are looking for a motivated IT Support Technician to join our team and provide day-to-day technical support to employees and assist with our company's computer systems, software, and technology infrastructure.

This position is well suited for someone with a practical IT background who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, helping users, and working with computers and business technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to employees and users
• Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and connectivity issues
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, applications, and peripherals
• Assist with Microsoft 365, email, printers, and other business applications
• Set up and maintain user accounts and access permissions
• Diagnose and resolve basic network and connectivity problems
• Monitor and maintain IT equipment and systems
• Document technical issues, solutions, and support requests
• Assist with software updates, system maintenance, and backups
• Provide technical guidance and training to employees when required
• Escalate more complex technical issues when necessary
• Support the company with general IT and technology-related tasks

Requirements

• Completion of a college program in computer science, information technology, computer systems, or a related field; or equivalent technical training and experience
• Previous experience in IT support, technical support, help desk, computer technician, or a similar role is an asset
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business software
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and troubleshooting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple technical requests
• Comfortable learning new software and technologies
