About Creekbread

At Creekbread, we’re all about handmade, wood-fired pizzas, fresh local ingredients, and a welcoming, community-driven atmosphere. We take pride in serving high-quality food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and we’re looking for a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our kitchen team.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare high-quality food in a timely, efficient, and sanitary manner
  • Set up and maintain your station according to restaurant guidelines
  • Conduct line checks before service and manage prep and inventory levels
  • Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards
  • Assist with firewood stocking and rotation to support our wood-fired ovens
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
  • Prepare dishes for guests with allergies or dietary restrictions
  • Work in an open kitchen environment, maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor

What You Bring to the Team

  • 1+ year of cooking experience preferred
  • FoodSafe Certificate required
  • Culinary diploma is an asset
  • Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation principles
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
  • A team-first attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs regularly
