Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Wait Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team! Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct entry
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and timely delivery to guests
  • Manage guest inquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
  • Support food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines and restaurant standards
  • Assist in closing duties such as balancing registers, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies

Qualifications

  • Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred
  • Must be bilingual
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar technology is a plus
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
  • Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, math calculations, and billing accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Kitchen experience or hospitality background is advantageous but not required
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items and provide guest services that exceed expectations
