Position Overview:

As a Corporate Events Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and optimizing marketing events to enhance brand awareness, engage our target audience, and drive business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination of events that align with our marketing objectives and overall brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of marketing events, including trade shows, conferences, product launches, employee events and community engagement activities.
  • Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual requirements, and stakeholder relationships (vendors, sponsors, speakers, and attendees).
  • Coordinate and attend all event set-up, and tear-down, including daily inspections in support of the company’s standard.
  • Ensure events are executed within budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • All events to be planned and executed with a heightened awareness of cultural diversity and inclusivity.
  • Research and compile industry-related event and sponsorship opportunities with participation recommendations.

2. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely and set up strategy meetings with the marketing and business development teams to align events with overall marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, product teams, and executives, to gather input and ensure events support broader business goals.
  • Communicate event details and expectations clearly to all relevant parties, both internally and externally.

3. Marketing Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strong understanding of our brand to ensure our events always reflect our values and appeal to our target audience.
  • Coordinate the production of marketing collateral and other event-related materials.
  • Maintain an effective inventory of marketing collateral
  • Provide the necessary administration to support Marketing as required.

4. Post-Event Analysis:

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to measure the success of each event against predetermined Key Performance Indicators and guide future strategies.
  • Collect and analyze attendee feedback to continuously improve future events and enhance the overall event experience.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in event planning and coordination, preferably in a marketing or related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solver and ability to manage change.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in the participation and hosting of Video Conferencing within the various platforms.
  • Demonstrated history in the administration and maintenance of event calendars, scheduling/booking events, and supporting travel requirements.
  • Must be able to travel to support events.
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
