About the Role

Are you a skilled machine operator with a strong mechanical mind and precision forklift skills? We are a growing beverage production facility looking for a Packaging & Warehouse Lead to become the technical backbone of our production floor.

In this role, you won't just be pushing buttons. You will be hands-on with our packaging machinery, managing equipment maintenance, executing critical sanitization protocols, and handling warehouse logistics. You will work side-by-side with our Processing Lead to ensure daily production runs safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Operations & Maintenance: Set up, run, and perform changeovers on beverage packaging and production equipment. Act as the first line of defense for routine preventative maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Sanitization & CIP: Execute daily Clean-In-Place (CIP) and chemical sanitation protocols to maintain strict food safety and organic/quality standards.
  • Precision Material Handling: Operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and stage ingredients. Note: Our warehouse requires an expert driver capable of safely and confidently navigating tight aisles and narrow turning radiuses.
  • Shipping & Receiving: Manage incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods, ensuring physical inventory counts accurately match paperwork.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Must be mechanically inclined. Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, or performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery is highly preferred.
  • Forklift Mastery: A valid forklift certification is required. Must have advanced, confident driving skills to handle tight, precise maneuvering.
  • CIP Knowledge: Practical experience with food/beverage sanitation procedures and Clean-In-Place systems.
  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in a food/beverage manufacturing, packaging line, or warehouse lead role.
  • Physical Capability: Ability to lift, bend, stand for extended periods, and work comfortably in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Collaboration: Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with production and processing team members.

Experience:

  • Food or Beverage Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Machine Troubleshooting/Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Forklift Driving: 2 years (Required)
