Location: 530 West Broadway, Vancouver BC, Canada
Core hours: Monday to Friday from 8am – 4:30pm PST

We value collaboration, both in-person and remotely. This position is classified as Hybrid under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, where this position is required to be onsite 3 days per week.

Role Summary
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing business and solution requirements for complex digital and technology initiatives. You will apply senior-level business analysis practices across the full requirements lifecycle, and have strong experience partnering with business and technical stakeholders on large, complex initiatives, with proven experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations including enterprise process redesign, data migration and transformation, systems integration, and solution validation, data architecture, and data transformation. You will report directly to the Vice President, information Services.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business analysis planning, including defining analysis approach, stakeholder engagement, governance, traceability, prioritization, and documentation standards across assigned initiatives.
  • Lead the preparation and facilitation of discovery sessions, interviews, workshops, and working groups to elicit, analyze, validate, and confirm business, functional, non-functional, integration, reporting, and data requirements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality analysis artifacts, including business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process maps, business rules, decision logs, traceability matrices, and impact assessments.
  • Analyze current state processes, systems, data flows, and pain points; define future state processes and operating models that improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
  • Perform gap analysis, root cause analysis, feasibility analysis, and option assessments
  • Partner closely with technical teams, architects, developers, and vendors to translate business needs into implementable technical and solution requirements
  • Work with project teams to define acceptance criteria and provide input into the quality assurance process(es)
  • Lead analysis activities for ERP and enterprise application projects, module/process fit assessment, configuration requirements, integration requirements, reporting requirements, and readiness planning.
  • Define and document data requirements, data definitions, source-to-target mappings, data quality rules, data migration requirements, reporting logic, and transformation considerations
  • Facilitate alignment among stakeholders with differing priorities, communicate analysis outcomes clearly, and provide recommendations
  • Collaborating with Project Managers and technical leads to identify risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions related to scope, requirements, integration points, and business readiness
  • Develop process flow diagrams, context diagrams, use case models, data flow diagrams, and other visual artifacts
  • Coordinate or support test planning, test scenario development, test execution, defect analysis, and readiness assessments for implementations and releases
  • Use and maintain analysis and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Lucidchart, Visio, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel, and related documentation repositories

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive business analysis experience in a lead/primary BA role on complex technology and business transformation initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience applying senior business analysis practices aligned to BABOK
  • IIBA designation (e.g. CCBA, CBAP) or a comparable professional designation is preferred.
  • Strong experience working on complex technical projects involving enterprise applications, systems integration, workflow redesign, reporting, and cross-functional process transformation.
  • Strong hands-on experience across multiple phases of ERP implementations
  • Proven experience supporting data architecture and data transformation initiatives
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools and common business analysis platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, and Excel; SQL and reporting tool exposure is an asset.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build alignment across business and technical teams.
  • Highly analytical, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in using AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) to aid in the delivery of Business Analysis processes and deliverables
