Full job description

Hiring Optician/Student Optician (part time leading to full time or full time)

We are an established modern optometry clinic in Vancouver’s beautiful Kerrisdale neighbourhood. We are looking for a friendly and energetic team player to join our team of optometrists, opticians, and optometric assistants. We specialize in comprehensive eyecare including myopia and dry eye management.

We are looking for an optician who is interested in fitting and educating patients about the newest technology lenses and myopia control lenses. The optician will also be responsible for training children how to use orthokeratology lenses as well as soft multifocal lenses. We will provide training for the right candidate!

Fluency in English (written and conversational) as well as conversational Mandarin are an asset.

Competitive remuneration is given but varies on experience, we are looking for someone who would like to grow with our team. Extended health benefits are provided to full time staff. Saturday availability required, we are closed Sundays.

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
