Vipond | Fire-Tech is one of the largest third-party suppliers of Fire Alarm, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Suppression, and other life safety systems in Newfoundland and Labrador

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Prepare and issue customer invoices
  • Apply payments and reconcile accounts
  • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies

Collections:

  • Contact customers regarding overdue accounts (phone and email)
  • Maintain accurate documentation of collection efforts
  • Work with customers to arrange payment plans when necessary
  • Escalate accounts as appropriate

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Administrative Support:

  • Maintain organized financial records and filing systems
  • Assist with month-end procedures
  • Support general office administration as needed

Qualifications

  • Experience with AR, AP, and collections required High school diploma
  • Post-secondary education Business Administration, Office administration or related field would be ideal
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
