Full job description

Saltworks Technologies is a leading Canadian cleantech company solving two of the world's most pressing challenges: water sustainability and critical minerals supply. We design and build advanced industrial water treatment and lithium refining systems for global leaders in semiconductors, mining, automotive, and industrial processing.

Saltworks is a 2025 Technology Fast 50 company and EY Entrepreneur of the Year award winner. We lead our industry in adopting and developing AI across our products, projects, and operations. Join us and build skills defining the next era of engineering and industrial systems.

The role:

As our Office Administrator, you’ll help keep our two facilities organized, welcoming, and running smoothly. This is a hands-on, varied role that supports senior leaders, coordinates office and facility needs, and works with employees and external vendors. At Saltworks, you'll be part of a growing clean technology company with a strong focus on integrity, productivity, teamwork, and quality.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prioritize and complete a high volume of daily tasks and requests from across the company.
  • Support senior leaders with day-to-day business operations and scheduling.
  • Assist the business development and marketing team with conference preparation.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the accounting and HR teams as needed.
  • Book travel for team members across the company.
  • Welcome and assist visitors.
  • Coordinate office supplies, furniture, and workspace setup.
  • Maintain meeting rooms and common areas to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Manage our third-party cleaning company and oversee office cleanliness and presentation.
  • Contribute to the execution of company events, including meals and parties.
  • Perform additional administrative duties as required.

What you bring:

  • Post-secondary education.
  • Friendly, approachable attitude with strong communication skills and the initiative to proactively engage with senior leaders when needed.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or office management role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • A keen eye for detail and a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves approach.

If you're ready to take on a dynamic role where your organizational skills make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you!

Why join Saltworks?

At Saltworks, you'll collaborate with talented colleagues to solve complex, real-world problems – designing and delivering innovative water treatment and lithium refining systems for some of the world's most recognized companies. Every team member contributes meaningfully, from early-stage development through field deployment.

We offer:

  • Competitive compensation package, including medical, dental, vision, RRSP matching, life insurance, AD&D coverage, and an education allowance.
  • Culture built on safety, innovation, diversity, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional team environment where every member contributes to project outcomes.
  • Regular social activities and company events.

Kindly, no recruiters.

Salary: $45,000 to $50,000 per year (negotiable based on your experience, qualifications, and internal equity).
