Job Title: MOA – Medical Office Administrator
Job Type: Temporary Ongoing
Location: Oshawa (Stevenson / Taunton)

Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm

Pay Rate: $20.07/hr

We are seeking a Medical Office Administrator to help our client at their busy clinic. Successful candidates will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients and medical staff. General administrative and filing duties as needed.

Job Details

  • Answer telephones, take messages and provide general information to the public.
  • Greet and direct patients; answer inquiries; maintain log as required.
  • Open and distribute mail, correspondence, and other materials to staff.
  • Typing up basic correspondence, entering data, and printing letters, labels, reports, and/or other material
  • Copy documents and prepare and transmit facsimiles for the unit.
  • Maintain and/or update files, records, and/or other documents.
  • Schedule, or assist in scheduling patient appointments, staff, meetings, etc.
  • Order, stock, and distribute office medical supplies.
  • Run various routine errands, as required, for the clinic.
  • Perform specialized clerical/administrative and other miscellaneous services as required.
Requirements

  • Medical office diploma or certificate.
  • Requires 6 months to 1 year of medical office experience.
  • Strong word processing and/or data entry skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures.
Work Conditions

  • Medical Pain Management clinic: dress code is business casual.
