About the Role

We are actively seeking an experienced Red Seal (Journeyperson) Electrician to join our growing team. This is a field-based, travel-heavy position performing electrical upgrades and installations for residential HVAC systems across Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities

Perform electrical upgrades and new installations for HVAC equipment

Service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems

Ensure all work strictly complies with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and Nova Scotia Power requirements

Complete accurate documentation and inspection paperwork

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Occasional weekend work when required (paid at overtime rates where applicable)

Requirements

Valid Red Seal (Journeyperson) Electrician certification – Required

Valid Nova Scotia driver’s license and clean driving record (company vehicle provided)

Ability to travel daily throughout Nova Scotia (home most nights, occasional overnight stays)

Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and local Nova Scotia amendments

Experience with electrical work related to HVAC systems is a strong asset

Reliable, professional, and committed to safety and quality workmanship

Ability to pass a criminal background check

3 Months probationary period.
