Full job description

Westcoast Auto Repairs

Our company is hiring a Full-time Office Assistant and Bookkeeper for a 1 - 1 1/2 year term.

We are located close to First Avenue and Boundary Road in North Burnaby.

Responsibilities:

- Payroll

- Bookkeeping and daily data entry using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks

- Paying Vendors monthly and receiving payments daily using the POS

- Organizing files

- Light maintenance of the office, sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces

- Providing excellent customer service in person, by email, and over the phone

- Creating estimates

- Scheduling and managing appointments

Qualifications/Experience:

- Some automotive knowledge or experience is preferred

- Previous office, customer service, or administrative experience is an asset

- Comfortable with computers, data entry, and learning new software

- Strong organizational and communication skills

- Able to multitask in a busy automotive shop environment

- Reliable, friendly, and professional

After 3 months of successful employment we offer medical/dental benefits on our group plan

Compensation will vary based on experience.

Hours are: Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Closed on all Statutory Holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
