This role will cover the Hamilton, Niagara Falls and St Catherine's regions - candidates need to be based out of Hamilton.

Job Summary

MagGas Home Care is currently recruiting for highly energetic and motivated Regulated Healthcare Professionals (RRT/RN/RPN). The RHP will be required to:

  • Provide respiratory services with a focus on home oxygen therapy. This will include thorough respiratory assessments, application of non-invasive ventilatory support and other respiratory devices.
  • Have an understanding of the ADP requirements to meet Ministry of Health criteria for Home Oxygen.
  • Conducts appropriate follow-up to clients to evaluate effectiveness of treatment plans, comfort and compliance to therapy.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare professionals following best practices to ensure optimal care and safety.
  • Evaluate the client's home environment for safety, address areas of concern, and perform equipment quality control checks.
  • Troubleshoot escalated client concerns referred by the Patient Care Coordinator, ensuring thorough and proper resolution.
  • Contributes to the growth of MagGas Medical by participating in demonstration/education of products and services as needed.

RHP Qualifications

  • Registered Healthcare Professional with no limitations to practice under their respective provincial governing body.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Clear vulnerable persons check
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft, Google applications and Android
  • COVID Vaccination (2 doses)

COVID-19 considerations:

MagGas Medical has detailed COVID-19 policy and procedures. We take the safety of our staff and patients very seriously. Appropriate vaccination is required as we service high-risk patients.
