Job Summary

Duties

• Supervise daily clinic operations, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and quality standards
• Lead, motivate, and evaluate clinical and administrative staff to promote high performance and professional growth
• Oversee patient care activities, ensuring compassionate service and efficient case management
• Manage clinic budgets, billing processes, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency
• Coordinate staff schedules, training sessions, and continuing education programs to maintain a skilled team
• Implement process improvements using research and analysis skills to enhance workflow and patient satisfaction
• Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Dentrix or similar platforms
• Facilitate communication between departments, patients, healthcare providers, and external partners
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while managing inventory of medical supplies and equipment
• Lead change management initiatives to adapt to new policies or technological updates seamlessly

Experience

• Proven supervisory or leadership experience within a medical office or healthcare setting
• Extensive medical office experience with knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for documentation, presentations, and analysis
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in project management, process improvement initiatives, and budget oversight
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Medaccess or comparable software used in assisted living, nursing home environments, other clinics
• Excellent customer service skills combined with negotiation abilities to resolve conflicts effectively
• Knowledge of human resources practices including staffing, training, and compliance with employment laws
• Background in nursing or nursing home/hospice care is advantageous for understanding clinical workflows and patient needs
