About the design team

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Product Designer to join our team. This is a newly created position to support our growing product design team. As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience and interface of our complex products, helping simplify complex, data-heavy workflows into intuitive and scalable user experiences. You will design and deliver user-focused solutions for our enterprise software.

As a Senior Product Designer you will

· Champion high-quality, user-centered experiences across all product decisions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize design goals, including product managers, engineers, and other designers.

· Lead and evolve the Cetaris design system to scale across products, including component architecture, interaction patterns, and usage guidelines, working closely with engineering to ensure consistency between design and implementation.

· Own the end-to-end design process, from ideation and user flows to high-fidelity designs and final delivery.

· Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing) to inform and validate design decisions.

· Communicate and present your designs clearly to clients, stakeholders, and team members, explaining the rationale behind decisions and incorporating feedback.

· Leverage AI-assisted design tools and workflows to accelerate ideation, research synthesis, and prototyping.

· Design for intelligent and data-driven experiences, including predictive, recommendation-based, or automated workflows where applicable.

· Partner with product and engineering to define how AI capabilities are surfaced in the user experience in a clear, trustworthy, and usable way.

Required Skills and Experience

· A bachelor's degree or certificate from a program in user experience design, human-computer interaction, product design, or a related field.

· Proven experience (5+ years) working as a product designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and projects.

· Experience working at an enterprise or software product company (Software as a service product) designing data-heavy or workflow-intensive applications.

· Proficiency in design tools such as Figma.

· Experience conducting user research, including usability testing, surveys, and interviews.

· Ability to use data and user insights (qualitative + quantitative) to drive decisions.

· Strong understanding of design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

· Working knowledge of front-end technologies and development workflows, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and understand technical constraints.

· Experience working with or alongside AI-powered tools and workflows in the design process.

· Strong systems thinking, with experience designing scalable design systems, component libraries, and cross-product patterns.

AI & design workflow

We believe AI is transforming how products are designed and built. As a Senior Product Designer, you are expected to:

· Use AI tools to accelerate design workflows (research, ideation, prototyping, content).

· Critically evaluate and refine AI-generated outputs.

· Help shape AI-assisted product experiences with a focus on usability, transparency, trust, and clarity.

About you

· You have an innate curiosity and a desire to solve complex problems for humans.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and justify design decisions to cross-functional teams.

· You are passionate about empathizing with customers/user needs, motivations, and behaviours, and can translate that empathy into your work.

· You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams and are comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback.

· You realize there is never one right answer and always search out new solutions to complex problems.

· Stay up-to-date with design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.

· You are self-motivated and proactive, with a drive to continually improve and innovate.
