Entry-Level Customer Support / Product Associate — Secrets AI (Vancouver, BC)

Looking for recent Graduates, young & driven individuals & quick learners
About Us
Secrets AI (secrets.ai) is a profitable, fast-growing AI company building an AI companion platform — millions of users chat with personalized AI characters through our app. We're a small, lean team, and we move fast.
Be upfront with yourself before applying: our product is an AI companion/chat app for adults (18+), and some of our user base and content skews adult in nature. If that's not a product you'd feel comfortable supporting day to day, this isn't the right role for you — and that's okay. We'd rather you self-select out now than find out three weeks in.
Why This Is a Great Entry Point Into Tech
We're specifically looking for someone early in their career who wants real ownership from day one rather than a rotational program or a seat on a huge support team. No degree required — we care much more about drive than credentials. You'll work directly with founders and engineers, not layers of management. If you're the person in your friend group everyone calls when their laptop breaks, and you're hungry to prove yourself fast, this is built for you.
What You'll Actually Do
This is not a script-reading, ticket-closing support job. You'll be:
- The first line of support for our users — email/chat tickets, troubleshooting account, billing, and product issues
- The bridge between users and engineering — you'll triage bugs, write them up clearly enough that a developer doesn't need to ask follow-up questions, and help prioritize what gets fixed next
- Involved in product decisions — spotting patterns in what users are complaining about or requesting, and turning that into input the product team actually uses
- Comfortable digging into our systems (admin tools, dashboards, basic SQL/data lookups if needed) to actually solve problems instead of just escalating them
- Managing payments and refunds — reviewing requests, processing them accurately, and using judgment on edge cases, so this role requires someone trustworthy and detail-oriented with money
Who We're Looking For
- No degree required. This is an entry-level role — we're looking for early-career candidates (roughly 0–2 years of relevant work experience), whatever path got you here
- Genuinely ambitious — you want to grow fast, take on more than your job title suggests, and you're not looking for a role where you coast
- A background or coursework in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field is a strong plus — you don't need to be able to ship production code, but understanding how software works will make you far more effective here
- You're genuinely good with computers — comfortable learning new internal tools quickly, not intimidated by dashboards, admin panels, or basic technical troubleshooting
- You write clearly and concisely — a lot of this job is translating a confused user's message into something an engineer can act on
- You can work in-person at our Vancouver office full-time
Who Should NOT Apply
- If you're looking to mass-apply and see what sticks, please don't — we read every application and screening answer
- If you're not comfortable with adult/companion AI content as a product category
- If "good with computers" to you means "I use Instagram a lot"
To Apply
Answer the screening questions completely and specifically — generic or copy-pasted answers will be filtered out automatically. We're a small team hiring for one seat, and we're looking for someone we'd trust to represent us directly to users.
Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- On-site parking
Application question(s):
- How many years of relevant work experience do you have, and what have you done?
- Do you have any computer science, software engineering, or related technical background — through school, self-teaching, or hobby projects? If so, briefly describe it.
- Have you used AI coding or agent tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex? If so, which ones and how do you use them?
- Describe a time you troubleshot a technical problem you didn't already know the answer to. What did you do to figure it out?
- This role involves supporting an AI companion app with adult-oriented content and users. Are you comfortable with that?
- This is a full-time, in-person role in West Vancouver, BC. Can you commit to working on-site full-time?
Work Location: In person
