For this position there is no telemarketing or cold calling, we supply all leads!

• Before you learn about this fantastic role you need to understand how in-home evening and weekend sales impacts your schedule. If there is an structured activity that takes place in your schedule that cannot be moved or you are expected to make your self available during this position hours this is NOT the position for you.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Membership Sales Representative to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and a passion for music.

This role will require you to make contact with the leads provided and book an in-home appointment to provide our free musical aptitude test that determines aptitude for music, review our program with the family and enroll the child into the program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make contact with your leads to book the aptitude tests.
• Provide information on the benefits of music education and our curriculum offerings on the in-home appointment.
• Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance outreach efforts.
• Attend events and represent the Ontario Conservatory of Music to boost community engagement.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Specific in-home /direct to consumer sales experience.
• Proven experience in sales, preferably in a membership or education-related role.
• Strong knowledge of music and experience playing a musical instrument.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• You are available evenings and weekends.
• You have a minimum two (2) years direct sales experience. (Direct Sales is a sales method are not retail based but conducted in the customers home or in an office where you would hold a sales appointment, sell the appointment on a product or service and close the sale, and collect the payment)
• You own and have full use of a personal vehicle which is not shared vehicle.

Additional Position Information:

• Each week starts with your team in our main office, or in your area office booking appointments on Monday for the week.
• Weekly team meetings lets you can stay in contact with the entire team and grow in your position.
• Appointments between Monday to Saturday generally average 20 - 25 hours total, so this position provides for a daily schedule that allows you freedom for your personal life.
• Training for position fully covered by salary, ongoing training and support is provided on an ongoing basis.
• The position provides a fuel allowance, an automobile allowance, health benefit expenses!
