Full job description
Membre clé de notre équipe performante en développement philanthropique, la personne titulaire du poste de gestionnaire des dons intermédiaires relèvera du directeur associé en développement. Elle assure la mobilisation, la sollicitation et la fidélisation de plus de 1 000 donatrices et donateurs intermédiaires. Elle mise sur des communications stratégiques multicanales, des expériences exclusives et des approches personnalisées, pour soutenir leur engagement continu au sein de notre communauté. Elle assure également la gestion de son propre portefeuille de donatrices et donateurs.
La personne retenue possède une bonne connaissance des principes de la collecte de fonds et des processus de développement philanthropique. Elle excelle dans les parcours donateurs, la segmentation et la gestion des relations. Elle est bilingue et collabore efficacement en équipe. Elle possède une expérience de travail avec les équipes des dons annuels et des dons majeurs. Elle comprend donc bien les nombreuses priorités de collecte de fonds dans un environnement dynamique et à multiples parties prenantes. Avec un solide parcours en gestion de programmes, la personne retenue mobilisera notre communauté de donatrices et donateurs intermédiaires pour contribuer au succès du CUSM.
Principales responsabilités
- Assurer l’ensemble du cycle de don pour 1000 donatrices et donateurs intermédiaires : identification, qualification, mobilisation, sollicitation (communication de masse ou approche individuelle) et fidélisation.
- Collaborer avec l’équipe des dons annuels pour concevoir des sollicitations destinées aux donatrices et donateurs intermédiaires.
- Appuyer la directrice associée en développement pour promouvoir et lancer des campagnes comme le « Cercle des 51 % » pour la santé des femmes et le projet de terrasse de la Fondation de l’Hôpital de Lachine.
- Développer (seul ou en équipe) un portefeuille de 250 donatrices et donateurs intermédiaires non ciblés par des campagnes de masse et bâtir des relations durables par des stratégies de mobilisation personnalisées au service des priorités du CUSM.
- Collaborer avec la Directrice de l’Engagement des donateurs, pour mettre en place des stratégies de mobilisation et de fidélisation adaptées aux donatrices et donateurs intermédiaires.
- Collaborer avec le Directeur, Analyse de données et intelligence d’affaires, pour perfectionner les processus d’identification, les tableaux de bord et les rapports.
- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les médecins, les scientifiques, les membres de la direction et les bénévoles afin d’arrimer les intérêts des donatrices et donateurs avec des projets à fort impact au CUSM.
- Assurer le suivi rigoureux des interactions et des résultats associés aux donatrices et donateurs, et tenir des dossiers détaillés dans Raiser’s Edge.
- Soutenir les bénévoles en collecte de fonds qui souhaitent mobiliser leurs réseaux.
- Gérer et adapter la stratégie d’ensemble du programme pour susciter l’engagement des donatrices et donateurs.
- Respecter les normes éthiques de l’AFP et d’Imagine Canada.
- Superviser au besoin d’autres membres de l’équipe selon l’évolution des responsabilités du poste.

Qualifications et profil recherché
- Expérience en collecte de fonds;
- Bonne connaissance des principes et des processus de collecte de fonds;
- Compétences avérées et résultats probants en collecte de fonds (dons annuels, dons intermédiaires ou dons majeurs);
- Excellentes habiletés interpersonnelles permettant de mobiliser et d’engager des parties prenantes internes et externes;
- Capacité à établir et entretenir un vaste réseau de relations et à favoriser la collaboration entre collègues;
- Excellentes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes, sens des affaires, vision stratégique et jugement;
- Diplôme universitaire dans un domaine pertinent ou combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience.

An important member in our high-performing team of Development professionals, the Manager, Mid-Level Giving will be reporting to the Associate Director, Development. The Manager, Mid-Level Giving is responsible for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of over 1,000 mid-level donors through strategic, multi-channel communications, insider experiences and personalization of outreach with the primary goals of retaining these donors in our community. The Manager, Mid-Level Giving also manages an assigned portfolio of donors.
The incumbent will have good knowledge of fundraising principles and donor development processes with expertise and success in donor journeys, segmentation and donor relationship management. A collaborative bilingual team player, they will have experience working with annual giving teams and major gifts teams, and understanding numerous fundraising priorities, in a fast-paced, dynamic and multi-stakeholder environment. With a proven-track in program management, the Manager, Mid-Level Giving will engage our community of mid-level donors in the success of the MUHC.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Lead all stages of the donor cycle for 1,000 mid-level donors, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation (through mass mediums or individual approaches), and stewardship.
- Collaborate with the Annual Giving team to develop donor-centered solicitations for mid-level donors.
- Assist the Associate Director, Development to grow and engage specific initiatives such as the 51% Circle for Women’s Health and the Lachine Hospital Foundation terrace initiative.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of 250 mid-level donors individually or with colleagues, not currently included in mass medium solicitations, cultivating long-term relationships through personalized engagement strategies to secure support for MUHC priorities.
- Collaborate with the Director, Donor Engagement to develop donor-centered cultivation and stewardship for mid-level donors.
- Collaborate with the Director, Business Intelligence to refine identification processes, dashboards and reports.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, researchers, senior leadership, and volunteers to match donor interests with high-impact funding opportunities across the MUHC.
- Track donor activity and outcomes accurately, maintain detailed records in Raiser's Edge.
- Assist fundraising volunteers wishing to mobilize their networks;
- Manage and adjust overall program strategy for donor engagement.
- Adhere to the AFP and Imagine Canada code of ethical standards
- Potentially manage other team members as responsibilities grow

Qualifications and Characteristics:
- Experience in fundraising;
- Knowledge of fundraising principles and processes;
- Demonstrated ability and success in annual, mid-level or major gifts fundraising;
- Superior interpersonal skills to motivate and engage stakeholders both internally and externally;
- Ability to connect and maintain a broad range of relationships and to inspire staff and colleagues to work collaboratively in achieving goals;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, business acumen, strategic aptitude, and sound judgment;
- University Diploma in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of work experience and education.
