The working hours are not fixed since I worked as a reserach intern in a lab. So, generally The working hours would be from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M and more if required depending upon the experiment on that particular day.

Depending on the lab culture and the type of projects, there could be 100% independence with the projects as well as collaborations with other lab members. In your interview: be honest and makesure that the lab has funding and you have a secured scholarship during your entire study period ( MSc or PhD)
