Bar Manager – Milestones Restaurant + Bar

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Bar Manager to lead our bar operations. You’ll build a strong team, maintain consistent drink quality, and take ownership of inventory, costs, and bar sales while keeping the guest experience at the centre of every shift.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and coach bartenders on service, recipes, and presentation
  • Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Manage inventory, ordering, stock levels, and waste
  • Achieve liquor cost and sales targets
  • Support the management team with floor leadership and daily service
  • Maintain a clean, organized bar and follow health, safety, and liquor requirements
  • Handle guest feedback promptly and professionally
  • Build a positive team culture with clear expectations and accountability

Qualifications

  • At least two years of bar management or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
  • Experience with inventory management and cost control
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to stay organized and lead during busy service
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • A passion for hospitality and developing people
