Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage reservations and seating arrangements effectively.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
• Manage the flow of guests in the dining area, ensuring timely seating while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Assist in managing waitlists during busy periods, communicating wait times accurately to guests.
• Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and manage guest requests efficiently.
• Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
• Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is an advantage.
