Full job description

Exploring Minds Center for ABA Therapy and Mental Health, a leader in providing ABA Therapy is looking to hire Instructor Therapists to provide ABA therapy to children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other related behavioral difficulties.

The job will be placed at both of our locations in Mississauga & Brampton.

The ideal candidate will possess the following

Responsibilities and Duties:

-Implementing client-specific programming and teaching procedures for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 1:1 settings and/or group settings

-Delivering direct ABA services in BOTH in-home and center-based settings.

-Recording and graphing data

-Working collaboratively with client team

-Any administrative duties as assigned by Senior Therapist and/or Clinical Supervisor

Qualifications and Skills:

1) Diploma or degree in behavioral sciences or a related field

2) 2 years experience as an Instructor Therapist.

3) Knowledge of ABA and Child Development

4) Outgoing and passionate in working with children who have special needs

5) Exceptional interpersonal skills and written ability

6) Access to a reliable mode of transportation

7) Vulnerable sector screening is a must

-Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

-Should be able to conduct home based therapy sessions when required.

-Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

-First Aid and CPR training required
