About SharpLight Technologies

SharpLight Technologies is a global innovator in medical aesthetics — developing advanced, non-invasive laser and light-based systems that deliver proven clinical results. From skin rejuvenation to body contouring, our technologies empower aesthetic professionals to deliver excellence with confidence.

At SharpLight, we believe education is the key to every successful treatment outcome. Our Clinical Trainers are the bridge between innovation and application — ensuring every partner clinic is equipped, confident, and inspired to achieve superior patient results.

About the Role

The Clinical Trainer plays a key role in developing partner knowledge, clinical competence, and confidence through the delivery of theoretical and hands-on clinical education. This role is responsible for providing comprehensive product training, reinforcing clinical best practices, and supporting the safe and effective implementation of SharpLight technologies. Working collaboratively with the Clinical and Sales teams, the Clinical Trainer helps ensure partners achieve optimal treatment outcomes and long-term business success.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Training & Education

  • Deliver hands-on, virtual, and refresher trainings to SharpLight partner clinics in British Columbia.
  • Train and mentor new SharpLight Trainers and academic affiliates.
  • Conduct HP (handpiece) testing and ensure treatment protocols are followed with precision.
  • Perform ongoing clinical check-ins and support follow-up training as required.
  • Host student seminars, keynote educational sessions, and SharpLight graduation presentations.

Sales, Marketing & Brand Engagement

  • Act as a Professional Development Mentor (PDM) where required - supporting the growth and confidence of partner clinics.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to deliver clinical insights that enhance educational materials and event content.
  • Assist the Territory Manager with product demonstrations and lead live treatment showcases.
  • Represent SharpLight at trade shows, academic events, and partner open houses.
  • Participate in clinical projects and cross-departmental initiatives as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Fluent in English.
  • Certified Medical Aesthetician or Registered Nurse with laser technology experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in clinical training, device operation, or medical aesthetics.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills - engaging both small and large audiences.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable to evolving digital training platforms (Zoom, LearnUpon, etc.).
  • Self-directed, professional, and collaborative with a passion for continuous learning.

Why Partner with SharpLight

  • Competitive hourly compensation with growth potential.
  • Flexible scheduling and regional autonomy.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge medical aesthetic technologies.
  • Supportive and innovative team culture.
  • Opportunities to grow within SharpLight’s expanding Canadian and U.S. markets.

Commitment to Diversity

SharpLight Technologies is proud to foster a diverse, inclusive, and equitable environment. We encourage applications from qualified women, Indigenous peoples, members of visible minorities, persons with disabilities, and individuals of all gender identities and expressions.

Only qualified candidates will be contacted.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
