Medical Clinic Assistant – Full-Time

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for patients, providing friendly, professional, and compassionate service.
  • Greet and assist patients, answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and support front-desk operations.
  • Provide excellent patient care and ensure patients feel comfortable and well supported.
  • Assist physicians and healthcare staff with daily clinical and administrative duties.
  • Perform ECG/EKG, EST (Exercise Stress Testing), and Holter monitoring.
  • Assist with patient intake, documentation, and preparation for medical examinations.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and general medical procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records while respecting confidentiality and privacy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and staff in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
  • Work efficiently in a busy clinic environment while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous experience in a medical clinic or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with ECG, EST, and Holter monitoring.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and commonly used medications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English, Hindi, and Punjabi is an asset.
  • Compassionate, organized, dependable, and patient-focused.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a healthcare team.
