Full job description

Your Opportunity:
Reporting to the unit manager, the admin V is responsible for providing general office administration and secretarial support to the Pediatricians and other health care disciplines of the Child Health Ambulatory clinic. This position compiles data/statistical information, develops reports, records minutes/follows up on action items, manages calendar coordination, dictations, Telehealth, file management and ordering of office supplies. The successful candidate provides coverage for other unit administrative staff as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of Medical office assistant or equivalent with the medical transcription/terminology course required 1-2 years recent experience performing similar duties required Must have excellent verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills Must have excellent organization skills with the ability to work with limited supervision Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload Demonstrated advanced computer experience in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint Ability to work independently and prioritize workload is necessary Demonstrate excellent time management skills. Ability to work as a team player within a multidisciplinary team. Proven critical thinking and decision-making skills. Current working knowledge in connect care scheduling and bookings required. Must be able to lift/carry 20lbs on an occasional basis. Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Connect Care experience required.
