Overview

Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician

Dr. Laser Aesthetic Solutions – Calgary, AB
Part-time, Permanent | $23–$27 per hour

Dr. Laser Aesthetic Solutions is looking for a Medical Aesthetician / Laser Technician to join our growing Calgary clinic.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about skin and aesthetics, enjoys working with clients, and wants to grow with a professional medical aesthetics practice.

Our clinic uses advanced aesthetic technologies . Device-specific training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Perform laser and advanced aesthetic treatments within your training and scope
  • Conduct client consultations and skin assessments
  • Perform laser hair removal, photofacial and skin rejuvenation treatments
  • Provide RF skin tightening and rejuvenation treatments following appropriate training
  • Develop personalized treatment recommendations
  • Educate clients on treatment preparation, aftercare and skincare
  • Maintain accurate client records and treatment documentation
  • Take standardized before-and-after photographs
  • Rebook clients and assist with treatment plans
  • Assist with reception, scheduling and client communication when required
  • Maintain treatment rooms and follow appropriate safety, sanitation and infection-control procedures

Qualifications

  • Education or certification in medical aesthetics, laser technology or advanced aesthetics
  • Previous experience in a medical aesthetics or laser clinic preferred
  • Laser/IPL experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of skin types and common aesthetic skin concerns
  • Strong communication and client-service skills
  • Professional, dependable and comfortable working independently
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and treatment protocols
