Education

Bachelor's degree in Science

or equivalent experience; International Medical Graduates; RPNs etc,

Following job guidelines for routine duties but not limited to:

  • Review the requisition for Patient’s history and verify the medical order for final testing parameters/procedures in conjunction with the ordering physician and get clarification with clinical director or on call physician if needed and follow the Clinic protocols.
  • When patient arrives, verify identification and collect documents.
  • Explain the procedure and orient the patient with the facility.
  • Provide appropriate patient education.
  • Collect, analyze and integrate patient information in order to identify and meet the patient-specific needs (physical/mental limitations, current emotional/physiological status regarding the testing procedure, pertinent medical/social history).
  • Select appropriate study montages and calibrate for testing to determine proper functioning of the equipment and make adjustments, if necessary.
  • Apply electrodes and sensors according to accepted published standards and clinic P&P Manual.
  • Ensure the patient safety and maintain the professional decorum all the time during the shift.
  • Continue to monitor the recording, perform technical trouble shooting and manage any emergency situations if required, with proper documentation as per the clinic protocol.
  • Perform Titration studies and special studies as ordered by the physician following the clinic protocol.
  • Perform post collection duties and protocols as per the policy.
  • Follow the cleaning and IPAC protocols as per provided guidelines and prepare the sleep and technical rooms for the following shift.
  • Any other duties as per the management and clinic policy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
