Full job description

Job Summary

Windsor Orthopedic Surgical Centre is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The successful candidate will help provide safe, efficient, patient-focused care for same-day hip and knee replacement procedures, where patients return home the same day.

Responsibilities

· Provide nursing care before, during, and after same-day hip and knee replacement procedures.

· Perform pre-operative assessments and support patient preparation and safety.

· Participate in circulating and other Operating Room duties within scope of practice.

· Follow aseptic technique, infection prevention standards, and surgical safety procedures.

· Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, RPNs, and the multidisciplinary team.

· Maintain accurate patient documentation and contribute to a respectful, team-focused workplace.

Qualifications

· Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing.

· Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

· Operating Room experience within the last 3 years.

· Perioperative nursing education or certification is considered an asset.

· Strong communication, organization, clinical assessment, and critical-thinking skills.

What We Offer

· $47–$57 per hour for RN positions.

Pay: $47.00-$57.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
