Full job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Ultrasound Technologist with Musculoskeletal (MSK) expertise to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging, with a strong emphasis on MSK ultrasound, in accordance with CMRITO standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, with a focus on musculoskeletal (MSK) imaging
  • Produce high-quality, diagnostic images to assist physicians in accurate interpretation and care planning
  • Ensure exams are conducted in accordance with CMRITO guidelines, standards of practice, and code of ethics
  • Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures with professionalism and care
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and allied healthcare professionals

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active registration in good standing with CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario) — required
  • Demonstrated experience in MSK ultrasound — required
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
  • Credentials such as ARDMS (RDMS) or Sonography Canada (CRGS) considered an asset
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, pathology, and ultrasound protocols
  • Excellent communication, patient care, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
