WHO WE ARE
The Medical team based iis looking for a Medical Manager as part of a new position to define and elevate Naos' Medical vision, credibility, and influence across the U.S market for both Bioderma and Institut Esthederm.
WHO WE LOOK FOR
- Strong experience within medical affairs, medical strategy, dermatology, skincare, or healthcare-related environments
- Proven leadership experience managing medical field teams and cross-functional initiatives
- Strong understanding of both prescribing and dispensing healthcare ecosystems in the U.S.
- Ability to operate at the intersection of medical, scientific, commercial, and strategic business priorities
- Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging performance data to drive decisions and optimize investments
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with ability to engage effectively with healthcare professionals, KOLs, and senior leadership
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities within fast-paced, matrix organizations
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and execution capabilities
- Ability to travel frequently across North America for field visits, congresses, and strategic engagements
- French proficiency is a plus
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
This role will lead the transformation of Medical into a key growth and differentiation driver for NAOS in North America by strengthening the company’s medical anchorage through:
- Medical visit excellence
- Scientific engagement and congress strategy
- Clinical studies and evidence generation
- KOL and institutional partnerships
- Dermatology and healthcare professional education
- Cross-functional medical-commercial collaboration
The US Medical Manager, will define and lead the overall medical visit strategy across both prescribing and dispensing specialties, ensuring a consistent, high-impact approach across all channels and both countries.
This position will directly manage all Medical Representatives / Medical Account Executives across the U.S. and will oversee the Medical Transformation & Activation function in the U.S.
The role reports directly to the CEO, North America, and works in close collaboration with Global Medical, Sales, Marketing, Training, Regulatory, and Digital teams.
US Medical Strategy & Transformation
- Define and lead the overarching medical strategy for US across both brands.
- Position Medical as a core pillar of NAOS’ growth and differentiation strategy in the region
- Develop and execute a long-term roadmap to strengthen NAOS’ credibility and influence within key medical and scientific communities
- Ensure strong alignment between medical strategy, commercial priorities, and brand positioning
- Serve as the key medical leadership voice for North America internally and externally
Medical Visit Strategy & Field Excellence
- Define and lead the medical visit strategy across prescribing and dispensing specialties in the U.S.
- Establish clear segmentation, targeting, frequency, and engagement models adapted to each specialty and market reality
- Elevate the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of medical visits through best-in-class tools, training, and field coaching
- Drive a performance-oriented culture within the medical field organization, focused on impact, credibility, and relationship quality
- Continuously refine field strategy based on performance analytics, market evolution, and business priorities
Leadership & Team Management
- Directly manage and develop all Medical Representatives / Medical Account Executives for US.
- Lead and coach the U.S.-based Medical Transformation & Activation Manager and broader medical support functions
- Build a high-performing medical organization focused on scientific credibility, execution excellence, and measurable business impact
- Foster strong collaboration between medical, sales, marketing, training, and digital teams
- Contribute to talent development, succession planning, and organizational evolution within the medical function
Scientific Engagement, Congresses & Medical Influence
- Define the US strategy for medical congresses, symposia, round tables, and scientific engagement initiatives
- Ensure strong return on investment and strategic alignment across all medical events and partnerships
- Expand NAOS’ visibility and credibility within dermatology and relevant healthcare specialties
- Oversee speaker programs, peer-to-peer education initiatives, and medical advisory boards
- Identify opportunities to strengthen NAOS’ medical influence through innovative engagement formats and partnerships
Clinical Studies & Evidence Generation
- Lead the development and prioritization of US-focused clinical studies and scientific collaborations
- Partner with Global Medical and external institutions to reinforce scientific substantiation adapted to local market needs
- Ensure effective valorization and communication of clinical data internally and externally
- Support the development of differentiated medical claims and scientific storytelling
KOL & Institutional Partnerships
- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), dermatology groups, clinics, universities, and relevant healthcare institutions
- Develop strategic partnerships to reinforce NAOS’ medical credibility and visibility
- Identify emerging medical trends, specialties, and partnership opportunities relevant to the business
Medical Analytics, Performance & Business Impact
- Define and implement a robust performance framework for all medical activities
- Track and analyze field effectiveness, recommendation trends, dispensing performance, congress ROI, and KOL engagement impact
- Leverage data and insights to continuously optimize strategy, targeting, and resource allocation
- Build dashboards and reporting tools providing visibility on medical contribution to business performance
- Partner with Sales, Finance, and Data teams to align medical investments with commercial objectives and growth priorities
Budget & Resource Allocation Management
- Own and manage the US medical budget across both countries and brands
- Define strategic resource allocation priorities across field teams, congresses, studies, activations, and partnerships
- Ensure disciplined budget management and ROI-driven decision-making
- Continuously optimize investment allocation based on performance data and strategic priorities
Training & Capability Building
- Partner with Training teams to define the long-term medical capability-building strategy
- Ensure field teams are equipped with best-in-class scientific knowledge, engagement skills, and clinical credibility
- Support development of scalable educational content, onboarding programs, and advanced medical training initiatives
