Full job description
Position Summary
We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a Casual position at the Fort St. John Hospital.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs environmental services duties such as sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, laundry and washing walls, windows and ceilings.
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12.
- Building Service Worker Certificate.
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Or other Qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Ability to organize work and work well without close supervision.
