Now Hiring: Optical Lab Technician

Burnaby, BC
Full-Time | Temporary-to-Permanent Opportunity
$21.00/hour
Day Shift: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Location: Near Ron McLean Park. Burnaby, BC

Are you looking for a hands-on production role where attention to detail and quality matter?
We are seeking an Optical Lab Technician to join a busy production environment specializing in the manufacturing of prescription eyewear. We're looking for candidates who enjoy working with equipment, small components, and precise production processes.
What You'll Do

  • Operate and assist with optical lab equipment
  • Perform blocking, edging, cleaning, and inspection of lenses
  • Unpack materials and organize inventory
  • Conduct quality checks and identify product defects
  • Make adjustments as needed while following detailed work instructions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  • Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ideal Background
Candidates with experience in the following environments are encouraged to apply:
